Is the wii zapper the same as the wii perfect gun shot? What are their differences and similarities? And is it possible to use the wii perfect gun shot as a bow like the wii zapper? Please answer this question. And one more thing, can you use the rockband accessories to the guitar hero games and expansions? Thank you very much for everything.

Hudson K replied: "yes its just easier t grip"

bloodyaftertaste replied: "Only differences between the wii zapper and the perfect shot is the design. The wii zapper holds the numchuck as well, while the perfect shot is just for the wiimote. So they are a bit different. I believe that when you play games like Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles you use the numchuck to look around while I don't know if you can do that with the perfect shot. As for rockband/guitar hero compatibility check this website."

Attack of the Superdork replied: "It's basically the game. The zapper is longer, like a sawed-off shotgun, and the Perfect is more like a handgun. The Zapper holds both the Wii-mote and the nunchuck, and I think the Perfect Shot only holds the Wii-mote."

Edgar replied: "wii zapper uses both wiimote and nunchuck. And perfect shot uses just the wiimote. They are both the same for shooting"

Jan M replied: "I like that the perfect shot has a trigger that moves to press the b button instead of you having to hold the barrel of the gun to push the b button with your finger, the only thing I hate about the perfect shot is that you have to take the wrist strap off of the remote in order for it to fit in the gun, It's no big deal for me, but my son has a hard time doing it and he can't get the strap back on after. The rock band equipment will only work with rock band 1 & 2 The Guitar hero world tour equipment will work with the guitar hero games and rock band 2 but not rock band 1. The makers of rock band have promised to make all their new games compatible with the guitar hero equipment but the guitar hero guys wont make their games work with the rock band instruments."

shadowray7 replied: "Wii Zapper is bulky and requires 2 hands to hold. The Nyko Perfect shot is easier to hold, smaller, and is spring loaded, and more efficient than the wii zapper. Yes the Perfect Shot can replace the Wii Zapper if you want. However, the wii zapper comes with a free game, so it's up to you. And no, Rock Band instruments can't be used in any of the GH games on the wii, however you could use GH instruments on Rock Band 2. (But not RB1)"

Doodle replied: "Zapper Vs' Perfect gun. The Wii Console doesn't know you even have one, it's just a holder for the remote/nunchuck. The Wii Zapper is an official Nintendo peripheral and so more people like it for comfort and sturdiness, it also holds the controllers in a particular way so the tilt sensors are aligned, this gives you better accuracy during fast moving scenes. The Perfect gun is like the Nerf N-strike conrtroller adapter, (I actually prefer the nerf one for comfort) it enables you to feel like you're holding a gun as opposed to a remote control. As for the GH Vs' RB question, All the peripherals are cross compatible with RB2. They both use the same Logitech USB mic'."

-> George A Drummer <- replied: "The only main difference I can think of is the fact that you hold the perfect shot in just one hand, meaning it is difficult to play games such as COD 5 or any other FPS which involves moving around, because it is a pistol, rather than a rifle. With the Zapper however the nun-chuk is built into the gun as well meaning you can move your character around more easily, or it can be separate if you want. But it could be said that the Wii Zapper is awkward to hold. Benefits to the Perfect shot is the grip, the fact it is smaller, and the Perfect Shot does work with a nun-chuk just not as well. :D"

Outdoor electronic bug zapper don't work against mosquitos? Then which bugs does the zapper kill? I am talking about one of those with bright light which attract bugs & when bugs touches it, it zaps it.

steve.c_50 replied: "In the radius of the light, you will have a net increase of mosquitoes than if you had just left it dark, despite those that are killed."

Bert C replied: "It is most effective against moths and any other bugs you see swarming around your porch light. Mosquitos are not attracted to at all to light but to carbon dioxide (from the breath of the host). Some zappers have a slot for a bait cartridge which helps them attract mosquitos and houseflys but they are not very effective either. Bert"

What would happen if a human touched a bug zapper? Lets say somebody simply touched the light of the bug zapper, will the person get electrocuted? If so, would it kill him or her?

Trent replied: "They would get a shock but it would not kill them unless they had a medical condition. (Pacer)"

NYC replied: "the electric shock is strong enough to kill a bug but it would barely huurt a human cuzz were so big."

Steve B replied: "If you were unlucky, the shock could cause your heart to stop .."

Nomadd replied: "They don't put out near enough current to kill you. It would make you say a few words your mother wouldn't approve of."

Sixx6Sixx replied: "it hurts really bad i did it when i was little"

Kellie21 replied: "Now, this....is why they tell you not to put your body parts in a bug zapper. (yes I did read that warning before I stuck my finger in.) I was curious about how the bug feels upon entry. This basically is what happens....first...intense burning, electrical pain, followed by sparks, and the odd aroma of cooking meat.....yours. The moral here is....don't put your finger in a bug zapper, no matter how curious you are or who dares you."

Zanthor master o the guild of the black rose replied: "that human would get zapped"

Shannon R replied: "you, would turn into a bug! lol Actually you would get a little zap i grew up in the country and when i was 10 i woundered that same question."

Other than a bug zapper and bug spray, How do you get rid of gnats? I have a door outside that leads straight into my bedroom. At night, my door is covered with gnats. Like hundreds of them. Today I bought a bug zapper and hung it up. It look like the numbers of gnats tripled! My beige colored walls are stained up with those dead creeps. Nothing seems to be working. What can I do?! Please help.

psychoninja911 replied: "You have a few options that work very well. The light is probably attracting them outside. The bug zapper will draw them to wherever you put it. If they're getting inside, buy or make these: Funnel traps always work. My g/f has a few winecoolers that she doesn't like... Very fruity smell. So pour half of one inside my funnel cups, and then I spray tons of insect killer inside the mix... So even if they make it in, drink the stuff... They'll die. They don't even have to drink it... Just touch it. I'll make it toxic, but the "fruit punch" scent given off attracts them like crazy. Doesn't have to be big, you can use recycled crap, a piece of paper for the funnel cone... etc. You could also hang a BUNCH of these... From the sounds of it you'll fill em up. Hang a bunch from the eve of your house by your door. Make a wall of them. If the bugs are landing on the walls, they'll definitely land on these. Last but not least, you could get bug candles. Don't leave em burning over night. Firemen HATE candles. Every fireman I know doesn't let their family own a single candle. Evidently they're the or one of the biggest causes of fires. But bug candles work. They can put off horrible scents to bugs... Repelling them. Can't use em indoor though. We have gnats that get inside, I just use the funnel traps... Tape strips when it gets out of hand..."

Does anyone know what games are the Wii Zapper compatible with? I bought the Wii Zapper recently and I have been playing Link's Crossbow Training for a while and it's starting to get old. Does anyone know any other games that are fully compatible with the Wii Zapper?

Bro replied: "The House of the Dead games work with it. If you look on the back of every Wii game's case, in the upper right hand corner, you will see some light-blue icons that resemble Wii controllers and attachments. A game only supports the controllers you see on the back of the case in the upper right corner."

How do I do to connect a third and fourth Wii Zapper in the Quantum of Solace offline multiplayer mode? I only got to connect one extra wii zapper, so we were able to play in only 2 people, but not 3 or 4... I don't see anywhere that offers me the option to 3 or 4 players. The Wii remotes are synched with the Wii already, I play other games with them, in up to 4 people. But I'm not able to do it in the Quantum of Solace offline multiplayer.

K. Allyn replied: "Are you wanting to sync your Wiimotes? If so, here is how to do it:"

Mosquito/Bug Zapper always trips the GFCI circuit? I bought a Black&Decker bug zapper. Everytime I plug it in to the outdoor wall outlet, it trips the GFCI circuit immediately. I've been plugging chain saw, trimmer, and lawn mower to the outdoor outlet before and they worked fine. I have no problem plugging it into the wall outlet indoors. What is the problem?

Jim W replied: "Maybe a bad unit. It should be under a 90 day warranty with proof of purchase or sales slip. Take it back."

dale replied: "i would return it. sound like they don't have it wired correctly"

Hutton replied: "ok ya need to plug it in to a non-ground falt /the gfi is do ing its job."

What's the difference between Wii Blaster and Wii Zapper? Now at Ebgames and gamestop they have a gun accessorie called wii blaster. Then Nintendo just announce the Wii Zapper. They are both guns and they hold the wii remote and nunchuk. So what's the difference or are they the same?

Where can I buy a Crossbow Training Zapper with the game for the wii? I have searched everywhere to try and find a Zapper with the game for my nintendo wii. Everywhere seems to be out of stock! I don't want to pay what some people are charging on ebay for one as they are charging £30+!!!!! If anyone knows where I can get one that would be great. Thanks. Link's Crossbow Training (inc. Wii Zapper)

Hana K replied: "wait a few weeks and then look on gamestop.com"

mym1nd replied: "I had a similar problem. I eventually found one in WH Smith (in Croydon...). Trick was that they only had the game case on the shelf - not the actual box. Other option might be CEX (www.cex.co.uk) - not charging that much. They have branches all over. Good hunting."

mountbats replied: "Argos say it available for store pick up, but you have to be so lucky with postcode finder! Zavvi have it for £20:-%2B-Links-Crossbow-Training/824074/p.jsf"

queenofbob replied: "Dude, I feel your pain! We searched high and low for ours and finally found one at a small independent game shop called Chips. I've just checked their website - - but they're out of stock at the moment (like everywhere!) They are very good at getting stock in regularly though - much better than GAME - so it might be worth regularly checking on there. I've also just checked Amazon, and although they're out of stock, there is one available for £17.01 from the Marketplace, which is extremely reasonable seeing as how they're between £19.99 - £24.99 new. Check it out here: Good luck and keep trying - Crossbow Training is awesome!"

What happens to the bug after it is zapped by a bug zapper? I don't mean "It touches the zapper and dies", I want to know what to the bug after it's zapped. Does it disintegrate? Does it burn up and fall to the ground?

squeezie_1999 replied: "It turns into a little smelly burned-up buggie. A small one becomes a little pile of ash. A large one fries in place ."

Richard K replied: "It frequently dies and falls into a pot where the deal bugs pile up. Occasionally you empty the pot."

Shirley replied: "It gets zapped, (fried), burns and probably falls to the ground. Not a pleasant way to go for a bug!"

byderule replied: "it rots then dries out ,dont forget it is mostly burned by the electricity"
